Scientists predict that we need to remove 10 gigatons of carbon from the earth's atmosphere every year by 2050 to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. We speak with two engineering experts about the potential to capture and remove carbon from the air to reduce the temperature of the planet. Their technology, developed at UW Madison, turns carbon dioxide into a limestone that can be used in construction.
