Franklin Miller joined the Solar Energy Lab in the summer of 2009. His research interests are primarily in the areas of thermodynamics and heat transfer. He is particularly interested in the thermodynamics of refrigeration cycles at cryogenic temperatures and heat transfer in cryogenic systems​.
