New Compound Semiconductor Material Platforms for High-Efficiency Solar Cells

In a free public seminar at 3:30 PM on Monday, October 10, in room 1115 of the Wisconsin Energy Institute, UW–Madison professor of electrical and computer engineering Luke Mawst will discuss the preparation and potential benefits of new compound semiconductor alloys that possess the ability to effectively absorb a large portion of the solar spectrum and thus provide an attractive material platform for improving the efficiency of solar cells.
