KidWind Educator Workshop - WAEE Annual Conference

KidWind is returning to Wisconsin for the forth Wisconsin KidWind Challenge. Join our Educators’ Workshop during the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education’s Annual Conference to gain some tips for teaching about wind energy in the classroom. We’ll explore the science and technology around wind turbines and blade design and walk attendees through what you’ll need to know about participating in the Online 2021 KidWind Challenge.

The energy-based content, combined with practical standards-connected classroom activities make it easy to bring renewable energy to your classroom whether you teach science, environmental studies, technology, agriculture, or something else! This free workshop can serve as refresher course if you have previously attended a KidWind Challenge and will be useful even if you’re not sure about getting involved in 2021. KidWind materials are geared towards middle and high school students.

The first 10 registered educators will receive a free classroom starter kit!
