Richard Lindroth's research investigates the impacts of pests and climate change on quality and production of woody biomass (poplar), and genetic components of expression of desirable phenotypic traits in poplar. His research group also conducts tissue chemical analyses for woody biofuel crops.
Research Interests
- Genetic and environmental factors influencing poplar production
- Plant chemistry
- Sustainable forestry
