UNGA76: Achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals through microbiology

WEI Interim Director Tim Donohue and other experts in microbiology will present on the importance of microbes on September 27 at 8:00 a.m., at the the virtual Science Summit at the 76th United Nations General Assembly. The panel, organized by the American Society of Microbiology (ASM), will highlight the importance of microbial sciences in achieving a sustainable future for the planet through the lens of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tim will specifically address how microbes can help us achieve the UN SDG 7—affordable and clean energy.
