KidWind Challenge Educator Workshop

KidWind is excited to be bringing the KidWind Challenge to Madison, WI. Join us and learn how to explore the power of wind with your students.

This 4-hour workshop will demonstrate to teachers and team leaders how to teach about wind energy in the classroom, delve into the science and technology around wind turbines and blade design, get some free gear, and learn about how to participate in the 2020 KidWind Challenge

The energy-based content, combined with practical standards-connected classroom activities will make it easy to bring renewable energy to your classroom. This free workshop will serve as refresher course if you have previously attended a KidWind Challenge, and will be helpful even if you do not plan on attending the KidWind Challenge in 2020. Materials are geared towards middle and high school students.

Certificates of attendance for 4 CEU credits will be provided upon request.

Learn more about the Kidwind Challenge here. The first ten registrants will receive a free Kidwind Wind Turbine Kit!
