Game Changer: Green Careers and the Inflation Reduction Act

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is the single largest step to date by the U.S. government to address climate change and transition our country to a cleaner, more sustainable economy. The IRA invests billions of dollars to incentivize companies, non-profits, governments, and consumers to adopt clean energy solutions while also addressing environmental justice and supporting resilient communities. Because of these investments and others from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the demand for professionals in energy and sustainability fields will greatly increase in the coming years, creating new career opportunities in all sectors of the economy.

Join our virtual career panel, featuring four UW-Madison alumni, on Monday, April 17 from 4-5 p.m. to learn about a variety of career pathways in energy, sustainability, and the environment, and how the IRA is a game changer for job opportunities in these fields.
