Energy-Efficient Urban Transportation Planning

Topic Description:

Energy-efficient urban transportation planning: There will be continuing challenges in energy use in transportation. As supply and demand change, there is a need to optimize the use of energy resources from fossil fuel sources. There is also real opportunity to use more carbon-neutral fuel sources. Finally, the use of transportation system planning and design will help to efficiently use energy resources as well as improve performance and safety.
