Tim Baye is a professor of business development and a state energy and energy finance specialist with the UW–Madison Division of Extension. His research and educational efforts serve energy and clean-tech business, professional and policy leaders. He has developed, taught and managed business education programs serving owners, executives, senior management, investors and lenders throughout Wisconsin and beyond.
Baye's expertise includes: project formation, planning and modeling; marketing strategy and strategic planning; project financing, analysis and development; capital budgeting; financial analysis and pricing.
Research Interests
Renewable energy policy; economic development; energy project development and financing; bioenergy; distributed energy resources; carbon markets and accounting; technology commercialization; state energy policy.
