WEI researcher Grace Bulltail among 2023 Outstanding Women of Color honorees

Wisconsin Energy Center co-investigator Grace Bulltail, a professor with the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, has been named as one of the University of Wisconsin–Madison's Oustanding Women of Color honorees. 

The awards honor faculty, staff, alumni, students, and community members who go above and beyond in the pursuit of excellence and make important contributions to our community. Awardees are selected based on nominations by their colleagues and community peers.

A reception to recognize the 2023 award recipients will be held from 5 to 7:30 pm on March 7 in Varsity Hall at Union South. Registration is required

A live stream of the event will be broadcast for those unable to attend.

UW–Madison established the award in 2007 following in the footsteps of the UW System, which launched the Outstanding Women of Color in Education Awards in 1994.
