Zhenqiang (Jack) Ma's energy research focuses on energy conversions with emphases on direct conversions of nuclear energy and solar energy. He is also interested in applying wireless and microwave techniques in next-generation nuclear power plants and power conversion of solar modules. He has specialized in semiconductor devices, materials and circuits for many years. Fast flexible electronics and nanophotonics are also his current intensively focused areas.
