Younghyun Kim’s leads the Wisconsin Embedded Systems and Computing (WISEST) Lab at UW–Madison. His research focuses on the design and management of hybrid energy storage systems. His research objective is to develop low-cost high-performance energy storage by taking advantage of heterogeneous energy storage devices through optimal design and management at the system level. He is also interested in power management of embedded systems and secure and reliable cyber-physical systems.
