By surveying changes in pollinator populations in field sites across Wisconsin (above), WEI researchers model how pollinators respond to different bioenergy crops and different harvesting techniques. These models provide insight into which management practices will increase biodiversity, strengthen natural communities, and increase the overall sustainability of biofuel production.
