Teresa Adams is a Professor of Transportation Engineering and City Planning in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The goal of Adams's research on transportation infrastructure asset management is integrated decision support. This includes the development of spatial/temporal referencing data models and the use of geographic information systems (GIS). Adams is interested in improving life-cycle decision support for transportation assets such as bridges and pavements.
