Christos Maravelias

Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor & Paul A. Elfers Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering

College of Engineering

The goal of research in Christos Maravelias's lab is to develop theory, models and algorithms for the solution of fundamental and practically important problems in the area of Process Systems Engineering (PSE). Current projects include: (a) production planning and scheduling; (b) pharmaceutical R&D pipeline management; (c) chemical process synthesis; (d) supply chain management; (e) renewable fuel technology development and assessment; and (f) computational methods for novel material discovery.
