The Corralling of Climate Science and Green Energy Policy: How Effective? | Holtz Center for Science & Technology Studies Lecture Series

Date:

Thursday, April 25, 2013 - 4:00pm

The polarization of political parties on climate science and energy policy is well documented. However, much attention has focused on the stalemate at the federal level. Speaker David Hess' research at the state government level offers a more complicated picture and argues that denial of climate science is increasingly ineffective as a political strategy, and instead we see a new strategy based on climate adaptation and the challenge of building an interface between mitigation and adaptation.
