First Annual Energy Career Fair

We have partnered with the career services programs in the Colleges of Agricultural and Life Sciences, Engineering, and Letters and Science to host an annual Energy Career Fair at UW-Madison. The event will connect students of any major with representatives from throughout the energy industry. Our first annual Energy Career Fair at UW-Madison kick off the Wisconsin Energy Institute’s grand opening events on April 5, 2013.  Students can come speak with energy industry leaders to learn what it's like to work in energy and explore where a career in energy could go.

Bold, Innovative Thinking

This year, we are hosting the new Wisconsin Energy & Sustainability Challenge, a student competition aimed at advancing scientific discovery forward. This challenge combines an existing competition the Global Stewards Sustainability Prize with a new competition called the Dvorak Energy Innovation Prize. Through both competitions, $10,000 in total prizes will be available to students with the best energy and sustainability solutions.

All UW-Madison students are eligible. The competitions will be held together in our building on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Submissions are due on Friday April 5th, 2013.
