Job Description: 

Will assist with a variety of energy engineering functions in the planning, design and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability projects. May also support projects through energy efficiency engineering calculations and assessments using engineering knowledge and experience.

Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, assist in development and execution of energy efficiency programs and projects, assist in performing energy engineering calculations and assessments, and assist in performance of detailed engineering. Will have opportunity to work with Senior Energy Engineering Staff.

Must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Business and/or Economics, or related field. Good written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and computer skills. LEED Accreditation a plus. Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures; work is subject to review by others. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction. Develops knowledge and skills in basic practices and procedures within own area. Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work. Responds to standard requests from internal or external customers. Solves routine problems by following defined procedures. Manages own time to meet deadlines set by others. Works with others as part of a team.
