The Exploring Energy Series

Produced by the WEI Communications Team

Exploring Energy

The Wisconsin Energy Institute began production on a series of handouts that explore and demystify energy research topics. The series is intended to make complex concepts and research ideas understandable while discussing the relevant work in expertise areas across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. So far the handouts have covered microgrids, bioenergy and nuclear energy.

Bioenergy

What is bioenergy? Where does it come from? What are the different ways we can use bioenergy? Where is bioenergy research happening at the University of Wisconsin–Madison?
